While in the bathtub last night, Emma asked when daddy was coming home. "I hope he hurries," she said. When I asked why she said, "because I think I will fall in love with him when he gets home." "Me too," I said.

A Bug's Life

There was a teeny tiny bug crawling across the floor of the living room. Emma saw it and gave a normal yelp. "Mom, help!! I can't kill it!! I need help!!"

Sydeny sprints over, and without hesitation, crushes the bug under her thumb. After a few seconds of extra crushing to make sure the bug is extra dead, Sydney says proudly to herself, "I'm so brave."
