I did a tally last week of all the laundry I did. Guess how many loads made it through my washer and dryer in a seven day period????
Six, seven, maybe 10??? Nope.......16 loads. That's right we did 16 loads of laundry last week. And, I would say that is a pretty average amount for us.
Monday was six loads, Tuesday and Wednesday were three loads each. Then, I took a break (from laundry that is) and waited until Saturday to do two more loads.
Most of these were kid's clothes. I did a few loads of bedding.
My arsenal of tools consists of OxiClean (I put a scoop in each of the kid's loads), Kirkland laundry detergent, and mouthwash (this does wonders for stinky rags). Plus, I have a whole container of spot removal help (including paint thinner-love it).

The hardest part for me is getting it all folded and put away. This takes me days and days. It can be very discouraging to finally get that laundry basket of clean clothes put away only to fill it up with the pile of dirty clothes that has been collecting on the floor for the past 4 days. After Monday, here is the mountain of laundry I had to fold.
So, if you do the math, it's 14 loads of laundry so far. I have to give a shout out to Brent right now because the other two loads were his doing. That's right, ladies, my husband does his own laundry! This happened about two years ago when we moved into our current house. Each of us has our own closet. So, we have our own laundry baskets, and thus, Brent takes care of all that on his own. Maybe someday, I'll take pictures of our closets so you can see our different styles or organizing and cleanliness. Let's just say that I am grateful for closet doors that hide all his mess.
So, between Monday and Sunday, we did 16 loads of laundry. And guess what? It's a new week, and I've started the cycle all over again. We probably won't make it to 16 this week, but we'll easily break 10!
