While we've been busy with soccer and play practices, Emma's been rocking it at a few things.
She created this year's Student Council scrapbook which was sent into the state board and used to award the council. Walden Grove was given superior council with distinction (the highest award) for the fifth year in a row. This is like winning the state title. Go Emma!
A few weeks later, her A Capella group competed in hopes of qualifying for semi finals. I wish I could show everyone a video. It was so much fun to watch! Emma did the vocal percussion for several songs. It was so cool to watch her make those sounds. Who knew she had a knack for that?!
Also, it's been fun hearing her get better at harmonizing. She'll just pick out the notes while we listen to the radio.
