A while back Miranda was given a gently reminder by a local police officer that she didn't come to a full and complete stop at a local intersection. No ticket, just a warning. The kids were in the car at the time and since then they have been fascinated with the police and speed limits.
Yesterday, while driving the kids to the store, Emma tattled from the back seat:
"Mommy drove fast again, but the policeman didn't see her, so she didn't have to go to jail."
Busted.

On a related note, my Teachers are always saying things to see if they will get a reaction out of me. I had one of my Teachers stand up in class and tell me "When I grow up I want to be a gangster? What do you think about that Bro. P?" To which I took out my ID badge and said "Do you know who I work for?" You should seen how well behaved that kid was after that.
