Aiden was hungry. He got the milk out of the fridge and poured himself a bowl of cereal. Look closely to see what else he got our of the fridge.
Another day, when hungry, Aiden tried to make some eggs.
I heard him crying, and saw this. His leg is stuck between the couch and the wall and he can't move. Looking back, I should have left him there a while....or all afternoon.
Again, Aiden was hungry and got out the good cereal. Fortunately, he figured he didn't need milk this time. I won't mention that this was just before lunch, Aiden has been wearing these clothes for more than 24 hours, and he hasn't had a diaper change since bedtime yesterday. Now, it is NOT a coincidence that all the disasters have to do with Aiden. The girls have suffered minor damages lately (messy rooms, undone homework, long stretches without baths etc.)

Ooh! Eggs - those are the best. Right up there with olive/vegetable oil.
I keep waiting for these things to stop happening at our house. No luck so far. Good luck! (And really, bring Aiden over Thursday morning!)
I remember stories of Aiden's daddy making midnight food excursions. Maybe Grandma J can refresh my memory!
I love this post! It brings back so many memories (this was Caden when Chase was born). I love that you documented it. I hear someday we'll laugh at these memories.
Actually Grandma J has no such memories, although I don't doubt they occurred. Those years of 4 kids under 6 are such a blur...
Hang on Miranda. Things get way better.
Looking at Aiden, I do have a distant memory of that guilty (am I in trouble Mom?) look, though!
Oh goodness, I will enjoy my time of just ONE stationary baby while I can.
You are all troopers while you get used to having a 4th baby around. Way to go Jackmans!
Captain Crunch doesn't need milk. As long as you have a shot of insulin nearby you are good to go.
In looking at your blog again I had a brilliant idea!! Put your nursing chair in the kitchen! (or get a lock on the fridge. it's been done before.)
Eggs for breakfast, guess he likes 'em scrambled. I think it's amazing that he can get the milk and pour it into the bowl...and keep pouring.
Miranda ~ Your blog made me feel so good. That is my house too. I never could've imagined what life with 4 under 6 could be like. Broken eggs, spilled milk, no baths, unfinished homework, a baby who loves to nurse and does it so slowly you would think he's purposely doing it to hold on just a little longer to his very busy mommy, etc. It's all a bit unreal. But we love it anyway, right?
