More of the same, but I can't stop bragginng!

In November, Sydney performed on stage, again.   She rocked it, again.  She sang well, was full of animated acting, and loved every minute, again. She was cast as Omar (one of Aladdin's 3 friends) in Aladdin Jr.

She said this show has been her favorite so far because the level of talent has gone up.  Being a community show, the age of kids is from 10-18, so everything was a little more complex.  This made it more fun for Sydney.  They also go to perform in the big district auditorium with a huge stage.

She also just finished auditions for "Into the Woods" and was cast as the witch.  This girl would do this all day every day if she could.

I can (and have) said the same thing about Aiden and soccer.  All-day.  Every-day.  This kid really shone this year.  I can tell that he is improving his mental game as much as his physical skills.  The coach often relied on him to teach other kids while on the field and help them know what to do and why.  Also, he's got a killer leg!

Brent will help coach Aiden on an All-star team that will compete in tournaments from January-April.  Taylor also made a similar team.  I think they're both going to love this new level of play and I'm excited to watch them play.

These are some of my favorite things about being a mom.  Watching my kids succeed at things they love.
