The Summer is over....kind of

First Day of School was a bit different this year.  School is online for now (newest return date is Sept.8th, but who knows).  It all felt a little sad and pathetic, but I made the kids take pictures anyway. 

Taylor started 5th grade

This 7th grader was not thrilled about it.

Sydney is ready to rock her Freshman year!

Emma is taking 3 AP classes!

Some other happenings are.....

Emma got her first job at MOD Pizza and is loving it.

Taylor got her ears pierced for 10th birthday.

And I finally got the kitchen cabinets done.  This was a big job and turned into kind of an emotional project.  After spending a lot of effort trying to eliminate the deep grain in the cabinets,  I had to lower my standards and be okay with the imperfections.  I'm not 100 % sure I would do this again.

The lighter colors definitely make it feel brighter and the trim make everything feel so custom.
