First day of school is probably the day of the year with the most mixed emotions from me. I love the stability and schedule and seeing my kids start new adventures. But, I am so so sad knowing they're that much closer to leaving the house.

A few weeks after school started, Brent took Aiden and a car load of his friends down to Rocky Point for the weekend for Aiden's birthday celebration. It was hot a humid, and they ended up sleeping in shorts on towels on the sand because the tent was too hot. It was a quick trip, but they all had a great time. I know I've said it before, but I am so grateful for this group of friends. What a blessing!
We also started our master bathroom remodel this month. It is a bit of a splurge, for sure, but we are loving our new shower!!! The whole bathroom feels so luxurious. Here are some photos, but just know that there was at least 2 months between the before and afters.
