Sydney is officially an adult?!!
She told me that she could get on a plane tomorrow and leave if she wanted. I didn't think that was funny.
In an effort to make it a special day, Robyn and I put together a scavenger hunt for the triplets. They were given birthday sashes at school with instructions to meet at the local library after school. They had to decode a library book, deliver treats to a Fry's employee (a family friend), put a puzzle together with a clue on the back, find a local paper to answer a trivia question, and find prizes hidden in a few locations. Here are a few of their stops:
I think it was really fun for them and gave them something to do together since all 3 of them are short on friends these days.
Sydney opened 18 presents and then the family went to a local Teppanyaki grill restaurant.
Sydney is busy writing college essays, preparing audition songs/monologues, working at an Indian restaurant and spending hours each day at the gym. Sometimes I am so proud and feel like she's living her best life and sometimes I worry she is overdoing things and stressed out. Really, both are probably true.
