We had our first out of state soccer tournament this month. Taylor's team played in San Diego over Memorial Day weekend so we decided to make a family trip out of it.
We started the trip off with a MLB game. San Diego was playing the SF Giants (Brent's favorite team). We all had more fun that we thought we would, even thought the Giants lost.
After her games on Saturday, I took Aiden and Taylor to the beach while Sydney and Brent walked around La Jolla. It was a little chilly, so I mostly just watched.
Be these kids had fun trying to boogie board and play in the sand. It makes me so happy when these two get along and enjoy each other. It's happening a little more and more these days.
Taylors team lost all their games which was a bit frustrating for everyone. I hope this isn't' indicative of the upcoming season.
