We were able to fit in our annual ski trip this month. We split a VRBO with the Amelia and some of her kids. The weather was amazing and we all had a great time! I'm still so impressed with Brent on skis. He's so good and he is so good and teaching and encouraging everyone.
Aiden tried snowboarding for the first time. He hurt his tail bone pretty bad and spent most of the time trying to not sit or fall on it more. Him on a board and me on skis made for a comparable skill level so we spent the afternoon together trying a few blue runs. Taylor and Sydney rocked it on some really hard runs with Brent!
The next day, Sydney and I spent the day in town with Emma while the others went skiing again. They had a good time. By the afternoon, Aiden decided to trade his board in for some skis so he could go on some harder runs with everyone.
The next week, Aiden and some friends went to on a California trip with the Nielsens to celebrate Alex's 16th birthday. They went to Six Flags and Knottsburry Farm. He doesn't give me a lot of details about things, but he did say he had a really good time! I am so grateful he has been so bless with great friends!
They also spent some time at the beach before driving home.
